Design and Installation by:
Dave Sprunt & Rob Zschoche

View from the master bedroom. Granite door sill. Travertino porcelain tile over NuHeat mat & Schluter ditra membrane. Laticrete grouts, sealers, epoxy & mortar used throughout. Antique white 1/4" sanded cement grout used on floor, 1/8" epoxy grout used in shower and on walls.

Shower Soap Dish Detail Shows the diamond pattern of tile on the back wall, column pattern on right wall and running bond pattern below the listello (leaf) tile.

Giallo Antico granite from Brazil was used on horizontal surfaces, the door sills and for the frame around the diamond pattern. Listello tile was coped in the corners.

Laticil Bahama Beige silicone caulk was used at all inside corners throughout the bathroom, except where the front of the tub came in contact with the granite. White silicone grout (GE Kitchen & Bath) was used there.

Shower floor construction:
3/4" Plywood subfloor, 3/4" CDX Ply glued & screwed with deck screws 6"on center, 15 lb. roofing felt, metal lath stapled down, mortar pre-slope over lath, asphalt lap cement (In hindsight I should have used NobleSealant 150,because of possible deterioration of the PVC by the asphalt) Oatey PVC liner, Schluter Troba, deck mud, 2" tile, epoxy grout, AquaMix Sealers Choice 15 Gold sealant.
